Last year the UK Government launched the ‘Made in the UK, Sold to the World’ export stratergy. This new strategy is to create a framework for the government to work hand-in-hand with business to help them to succeed in the global marketplace through a first-class export support.
Part of the scheme was the inaugural ‘Made in the UK, Sold to the World’ export awards. The awards recognise and celebrate the global trading success of small businesses from across the UK.
LGM Products was delighted to recieve the honour of being ‘Highly Commended’ in the 2023 ‘Made in UK, Sold to the World’ export awards.
In 2022, LGM sold to over 70 different nations worldwide accounting for 83% of our turnover. We continue to strieve to work with local partners, gain international approvals and create market share both home and abroad.
The expert panel of judges commented; ‘[The] quality of entries we received was extremely high, and many of the shortlisted entries demonstrated excellent detail around how business growth and success is intrinsically linked to international sales.’
LGM’s Operations Director, Sophie Mogford-Revess said ‘We would like to thank the Departmant of Trade for recognising LGM Products as part of these awards, but also I would like to express our gratitude to our customers, worldwide partners and many international friends of have made LGM the export business success it is.’
The export journey does not stop here! This year LGM will be exhibiting Signaline at two upcoming international expos; InterSolar and Secutech.
