When connecting two lengths of Signaline Linear Heat Detection (LHD) or connecting the LHD with leader cable, a secure connection is essential.
Moreover, the connection must never become the system’s weak point, which is why Signaline’s connection boxes and end of line enclosures meet both IP and fire-retardant ratings. This ensures maximum durability and protection, even in demanding environments, thereby safeguarding the integrity of the entire linear heat detection system.
These boxes do require a surface to secure them to. When working on some applications, such as Solar or Transformers, a suitable surface may not be available.
In these applications we are pleased to introduce the Signaline Splice Kit.
A simple innovation utilising two IP68 rated cable glands and a unique connector gasket can quickly and efficiently connect two lengths of cable securely.
The Splice Kit is exceptionally lightweight. This means the tensile strength of the linear heat detection will hold the splice kit in place.
The Splice Kit takes seconds to assemble speeding up time onsite and saving on cost.
As well as providing an IP68 and fire rated connection, the unit carries UL approval and is UV rated. Ensuring compatibility when used even in the harshest of environments.
