Signaline Linear Heat Detection is an easy product to install, maintain and replace.

The Signaline Universal Connection Box (UCB) has been part of the range since Signaline was launched in 2009.

Used as a junction box to connect two lines of cable, to connect leader cable to the start of the protected zone or as a EOL termination box, the Signaline UCB is a hard-working and multi-functional box!

As part of our drive to reduce plastic waste we have recently made some updates to the Signaline UCB.

New Termination Block; The Signaline UCB is designed for use with all Signaline FT-EN, and Signaline FT and FT-R cables. To ensure system integrity the terminal block utilizes high temperature heat rated components.

Going forward the terminal block will be new Abox 025/040 type. This termination block remains heat rated and therefore compatible with our cables but also reduces plastic the plastic content by 32%

The more compact molding of the termination block also allows more space inside the enclosure for engineers to terminate cables.

Removal of installation instructions; inline with our Signaline LocatorPlus, LocatorPlus-EN and Signaline HD+ Controller, we are removing all printed installations instructions and replacing with QR codes. The QR code will be placed on the inside lid of the box ensuring that the installation manual is accessible even after the box has been initially installed.

To finish of the update, we could not resist given the enclosure a nice shiny new label as well, to bring it in keeping with the rest of the Signaline range.
