The Fire Safety Event, now in its eight year, has become the UK’s premier fire and safety exhibition.

The Fire Safety Event is dedicated to supporting industry practitioners, professionals and organisations in achieving and maintaining the very highest standards of fire safety management. Showcasing the latest products, technology and solutions in fire safety, this is the perfect opportunity for visitors to gain direct insight into improving business protection and continuity.

Running from the 8th – 10th of April 2025, at the NEC Birmingham, UK, The Fire Safety Event 2025, is expected to feature over 250 exhibitors. This marks an increase from the previous year, which hosted 215 exhibitors.

What will Signaline be displaying?

Signaline is delighted to put on display our newly launched Signaline HD+ Programmable Linear Heat Detection system.

What is Programmable Linear Heat Detection?

Linear heat detection is a simple and easy to use form of heat detection. It utilizes a temperature sensitive cable and control unit to indicate if over-heating has occurred in the protected area.

Signaline now offers both resettable and non-resettable linear heat detection.

Non Resettable linear heat detection, such as Signaline FT or Signaline FT-EN, uses a two core cable that will activate at a certain temperature. Once activated the length of cable in alarm will need replacing.

Whereas Signaline HD+ will return to a normal state after an alarm event providing the cable hasn’t been damaged.

What makes Signaline HD+ programmable is that it has the capability to have set pre-alarm and alarm temperatures.

Meaning that you can tailor the linear heat detection to the required specification of the area that you are protecting.

When is the Fire Safety Event 2025?

Signaline HD+ – the soon to be released Signaline HD+ is our globally approved EN54 part 22 linear heat detection solution. This programmable linear heat detector allows users to set alarm temperature, as well as pre-alarms and has a rate of rise function as well. Fully resettable after an alarm event Signaline HD+ is an ideal solution where the earliest alarm activation is paramount.
